Want List of CIA

Our ObamaNation has learned that Senator Lieberman stated the following concerning the criminal investigation of past CIA activity:

“I respectfully regret this decision by Attorney General Holder and fear our country will come to regret it too because an open ended criminal investigation of past CIA activity, which has already been condemned and prohibited, will have a chilling effect on the men and women of our intelligence community whose uninhibited bravery and skill we depend on every day to protect our homeland from the next terrorist attack. Career prosecutors in the Department of Justice have previously reviewed allegations of abuse and concluded that prosecution was not warranted, with the exception of one CIA contractor who has already been convicted. President Obama has established clear guidelines to ensure that past abuses are not repeated and has stated his desire to look forward rather than backward.

“We cannot take for granted the fact that our homeland has not been attacked since September 11, 2001. That has occurred only because of the constant vigilance and unflinching efforts by those brave individuals in our military, civilian homeland security and counterterrorism agencies, and the intelligence community. These public servants must of course live within the law but they must also be free to do their dangerous and critical jobs without worrying that years from now a future Attorney General will authorize a criminal investigation of them for behavior that a previous Attorney General concluded was authorized and legal.”

In other news, investigation into the CIA use of EITs revealed the following:

"With respect to al Nashiri [redacted] reported two waterboard sessions in November 2002, after which the psychologist / interrogations determined that al Nashiri was compliant. However, after being moved [redacted] al Nashiri was thought to be withholding information. Al Nashiri subsequently received additional EITs, [redacted] but not the waterboard. The Agency then determined al Nashiri to be 'compliant.' Because of the litany of techniques used by different interrogators over a relatively short period of time, it is difficult to identify why exactly al Nashiri became more willing to provide information. However, following the use of EITs, he provided information about his most current operational planning and [redacted] as opposed to the historical information he provided before the use of EITs."

"KSM provided information that helped lead to the arrests of terrorists including Sayfullah Paracha and his son Uzair Paracha, businessmen who Khalid Shaykh Muhammad planned to use to smuggle explosives into the United States; Saleh Almari, a sleeper operative in New York; and Majid Khan, an operative who could enter the United States easily and was tasked to research attacks [redacted]. Khalid Shaykh Muhammad’s information also led to the investigation and prosecution of Iyman Faris, the truck driver arrested in early 2003 in Ohio."

"During the course of this Review, a number of Agency officers expressed unsolicited concern about the possibility of recrimination or legal action resulting from their participation in the CTC program. A number of officers expressed concern that a human rights group might pursue them for activities [redacted]. Additionally, they feared that the Agency would not stand behind them if this occurred."

"One officer expressed concern that one day, Agency officers will wind up on some 'wanted list' to appear before the World Court for war crimes. Another said, 'Ten years from now we're going to be sorry we're doing this...[but] it has to be done.'"

In still other news, Attorney Holder stated that he plans criminal investigations into all government agencies abbreviated using 3 letters then moving to those using 4 letters and so on. Holder added he is hoping to have more special prosecutors than President Obama has czars. Speaker Pelosi added all these agencies are full of liars who deserve to be tortured until she is given a bigger plane.

State Radio - CIA Lyric

Ma ma mama don't look now,
There's red bus coming up along.
I might recommend that when the protests are over,
You will not expect to be so well.
When the capital is crowded with effigies,
And they might do you in if you don't know your country.

Don't you ever let us down C.I.A.
I know you'll never let us down C.I.A.,
As you sit on the crowd and keep them workin',
And say again.

Ma ma mama don't you see?
'Cause it's just one of them lonely days,
When we say how we fear that the last fence has fallen.
You will not expect to be so welcome to life of a foreign national,
Where are the Americans
Now that they fractured your country?

Don't you ever let us down C.I.A.
I know you'll never let us down C.I.A.,
As you sit and call in sick your empire needs protecting.

Since they fractured your country?

Don't you ever let us down C.I.A.
I know you'll never let us down C.I.A.,
As you sit and call in sick your empire needs protecting.
Your empire needs protecting.
Your empire needs.
