65 Trillion and Growing
Using the "Generally Accepted Accounting Practices", which American corporations are required to use by law, the United States government is $65 trillion in debt which is more money than is spent in the United States over 5 years.
By any accounting the United States government is closer to bankruptcy than CITIBank or the Big 3 automakers.
Both the TARP and the 2009 stimulus package will add a few trillion more to this debt.

The CEO of Caterpillar, contary to the comments made by President Obama, stated that passage of the stimulus package would not delay the layoffs at his company.

"irresolvable conflicts"
New Hampshire Republican Senator Judd Gregg withdraw his name from consideration of U.S. Commerce Secretary due to irresolvable conflicts with respect to the stimulus package and the changes in who controls the Census. Judd Gregg will continue in his Senate position but is not expected to run for reelection in 2010.

Stimulus From Old Bloated Hooker
Anyone who takes the time to examine this 800 billion spending package concludes it is the same old rehashed ultra liberal welfare pork Democrats have been pushing for nearly 8 decades.

Although absolutely no one knew what was in the bill or how much would be spent, the House and Senate Democrats reached a deal on how to waste nearly a trillion dollars of taxpayers' money.

The President is certain this bill, although imperfect, helps Americans acquire the American dream. If all goes according to plan, the average law abiding American worker will receive less than $13 per week extra.
The majority of the 800 billion is going to ultra liberal causes favored by the President and the Democrats in Congress. This bill even provides money for illegals to reduce their suffering caused by the downturn in the economy. The Democrats are only directing taxpayers' money to illegals that law abiding citizens are not eligible to receive.

President Obama once again sounded completely clueless when answering question posed by the press. The President was unable to answer questions about the economy, the war, the Vice President, or his plan for stopping the rapid rise in debt and unemployment.

Nearly 2 trillion dollars have been added to the national debt in the last 3 months.

The total pile of waste in the Democrat controlled Senate version of the Waste as Much as Quick and Irresponsibility ObamaNation Stimulus Act of 2009 is even larger than the total pile of waste favored by President Obama and passed by the Democrat controlled house.
