Our ObamaNation has learned that David B. Rivkin Jr. and Lee A. Casey find mandatory health insurance to be unconstitutional writing the following:
"Can Congress require every American to buy health insurance? In short, no. The Constitution assigns only limited, enumerated powers to Congress and none, including the power to regulate interstate commerce or to impose taxes, would support a federal mandate requiring anyone who is otherwise without health insurance to buy it."
In other news, White House Press Secretary Robert 'Ogee' Gibbs stated the President sees no reason to let the Constitution get in the way of what is best for Americans adding the President does not understand why those on the extreme far right are so wee weed up about something as unimportant as the Constitution.
